At an emotional level, it does not look like a technical aid and while a visual aid, can be used by all ages- a factor that is of considerable importance. (It is known that many worthwhile technical aids are not used because their appearance makes the user feel stigmatised). As the designer intended, it has the sleek appearance of modern handheld digital devices.
