ARTWORK
Submissions should be put together on A2 artwork @ 300 dpi, which should then be saved as RGB Jpegs to a closed file size of no more than 6.0mb. Alternatively PDF's can be submitted. These must be compressed to a size of no more than 6.0mb with all fonts embedded.
More Information
PDF's should be saved using the PDF/X-1a:2001 option. This ensures that all
fonts are embedded and that the file is print ready. Each file should
consist of one page only. The desired PDF file size can be more easily
achieved if placed pictures in your artwork are cropped as near as possible
to the picture box size prior to making your PDF.
JPEGS should be saved using the baseline option and compressed so the final
size is no more than 6.0mb (6000.00k). In Photoshop this can be achieved
when saving in the JPEG Options window by adjusting the Quality Cursor
between Minimum and Maximum to alter the final file size at the bottom of
the window.
if you are experiencing difficulty uploading your file, please upload a
blank file and once you've submitted the form, email your artwork file
separately to info@idi-design.ie, clearly stating your unique entry code, and
contact details.
