The National College of Art and Design invites applications for a new 12 month masters degree course in medical device design.

Medicine needs innovators who are able to generate great ideas and produce great designs for successful products. Innovators who understand the need for empathy with users and the technologies needed to develop new and better life-enhancing and lifesaving products. The National College of Art and Design invites applications for a new 12 month masters degree course in medical device design. This innovative programme, in association with Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin and the medical device industry, is intended to provide industrial designers with a wide range of knowledge and skills to support work in the design of medical devices. This course will encourage both practical and conceptual thinking. It will be particularly relevant to those with degrees in industrial or product design.

The course has been approved under the Skills Conversion Scheme and fees are €2044.
